(Des Moines) Several locations in Iowa are being recognized as the best college towns and cities in America. That’s according to a recent study by finance website WalletHub, which ranked 415 locations across the country based on academic, social, and economic opportunities for students. Ames was the first Iowa town to make the list with a ranking of 112, followed by Des Moines at 121. Others such as Davenport, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and Cedar Falls also made the list.
