(Council Bluffs) In honor of veterans and their families, Pottawattamie County Conservation will be waiving park entry fees for the following county parks today.
Arrowhead Park is in Neola, Iowa; Botna Bend Park is in Hancock, Iowa; Hitchcock Nature Center is in Honey Creek, Iowa; and Olde Town Park is in Macedonia, Iowa.
Today, all park visitors may bypass park entrance stations and enjoy recreational activities at their county parks.
For more information on the parks’ offerings, the public may visit pottconservation.com. All other park fees, such as camping, still apply.
*Narrows River Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is now closed for winter and will reopen in April 2025.
