(Des Moines, IA) — Iowa veterans, their families, and survivors received VA care and benefits in record numbers this year.
The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs says fiscal year 2024 saw an expansion of care and benefits for veterans across the nation. Over 33-hundred Iowa vets received VA healthcare.
Nearly 70-thousand Iowans received over 1.2-billion dollars in VA compensation, pensions, and disability benefits.
