(Villisca) A Cass County man faces multiple charges from a Montgomery County traffic stop.
Montgomery County Deputies initiated a traffic stop at 11:11 p.m. on Tuesday at 1st Avenue and High Street in Villisca. The driver, identified as Anthony Thomas Germann of Atlantic, fled, causing a short foot pursuit. Deputies apprehended Germann, took him into custody, and transported him to the Montgomery County jail on the following charges.
*Driving While Barred-aggravated misdemeanor
*Interference with officials’ acts-simple misdemeanor
*Possession of Methamphetamine 1st offense-serious misdemeanor
*Three violations of probation warrants out of Montgomery County.
Authorities hold Germann in the Montgomery County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
