(Atlantic) The amenities are going up at the new 5,000-square-foot Splash Pad project near the Sunnyside Pool in Atlantic. The new facility, expected to open next summer, includes an overflow zone with a 4,000-square-foot surface; the project will have 25 to 30 features.
‘We are incredibly excited to see the splash pad come to fruition with the installation of the feature this week,” said Ali Pieken, Co-Chair of the Splash Pad Committee.
Pieken encourages community members to drive by and look at the progress. “None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity of this community. We look forward to the grand opening this spring (2025) and splashing on it with YOU all summer!”
The Splash Pad, including the overflow zone, is 5,000 square feet, and the surface with the features is a little over 4,000 square feet; the entire project will have 25 and 30 features.
