(Audubon) One of Audubon County Supervisor Chairman Heath Hanson’s priorities is generating public interest in serving on various boards throughout the county. Hanson says people may not realize the number of boards needed to run things across the county.
Any Audubon County resident interested in serving on one of these boards is asked to send a letter to the board of supervisors detailing why they would like to be on a particular board and what makes them a good fit. Or call the Audubon County Auditor’s Office before December 16 to get on the Supervisors’ meeting agenda and talk to the board.
The boards up for re-selection include; The Board of Adjustment one five-year term, The Conservation Board one five year term, and The Planning and Zoning Board which is two five year terms.
