(Poweshiek County) A Harrison County, Iowa, man died in a single-vehicle crash in Poweshiek County on Wednesday Morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 11:28 a.m. in the 1600 Block of Highway 85. Authorities say 52-year-old Christopher Phillip Hudnut, of Logan, Iowa, died in the crash.
According to the report, Hudnut was driving a 1996 Peterbilt Conventional Dump Truck loaded with gravel westbound on Highway 85. The truck sustained a tire failure, went out of control, left the roadway, and entered the south ditch, ejecting the driver, Christopher Hudnut.
