(Undated) — McDonald’s Quarter Pounders are linked to an E. Coli outbreak across multiple states. On Tuesday, the CDC announced that it was working with McDonald’s to determine what burger ingredient was contaminated. As a precaution, the fast-food chain has halted the use of fresh onions and quarter-pound beef patties in several states. At least 49 people in 10 different states were sickened, and one person died. Cases have been reported in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
