Cameron James Watkins, age 24, of Omaha, NE, a native of Atlantic, IA, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2024, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Mr. Watkin’s life was taken away from us much too early. He was innocent by standard, and he was caught in the crossfire of a shooting in Omaha.
Cameron Watkins was the father of two children, ages one year and three months old. He leaves behind his loving girlfriend, the mother of his children, and his father, Zach of Atlantic.
A Public visitation with the family present will be held from 5 pm till 7 pm, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa. Family will be present at that time.
