(Montgomery Co) The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Robert Arthur Crooks Jr., of Des Moines, for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense. The charge stems from a traffic stop near Highway 34 and Highway 48 early this (Saturday) morning. Crooks was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and held on $1,000 bond. The Red Oak Police Department assisted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
