(Clinton County) The Iowa State Patrol now says the three people killed in a truck versus S-U-V crash on Monday morning in Clinton County were all children under the age of five.
The Iowa State Patrol says that, for unknown reasons, a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stationary in the outside lane of the 3700 block of eastbound Highway 30. A 2023 Dodge 4500 was eastbound in the same location and rear-ended the Jeep, causing the Jeep to come to rest in the south ditch. The Dodge came to rest on the south shoulder.
Another child and an adult were injured in the crash.
