(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors approved the lease renewal with the City of Avoca and Newtown Avoca Historical Society for the Avoca Courthouse.
The Courthouse in Avoca is used by many county representatives including Veterans Affairs, the County Treasurer, County Recorder, and every Sheriff’s Deputy has 24/7 access to the office.

The Supervisors approved the new two-year lease at a rate of $15,000 per year. It was noted that this rate has not changed for over 20-years.
