(Guthrie Center, IA) — The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors continue to meet with residents all over the county to get feedback about EMS service. The meetings have gone well but have not been well attended in general. Supervisor Steve Smith says that the public perhaps does not when the meetings are being held. Maggie Armstrong says there has been progress made despite the low numbers
Armstrong says the supervisors are only in the preliminary stages of changing the EMS service in Guthrie County and its important to make changes now. Smith says the supervisors are trying to be flexible to make sure everybody gets availability to emergency management services
The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors are planning 8 more meetings in the next 16 days. Chair J.D. Kuster has suggested another meeting in the county courthouse could possibly be scheduled at the end of October.
