(Creston) A Creston woman suffered injuries in an accident while she was putting her children in the car.
The Creston Police Department says 17-year-old Sydney Maxine Marie Hoffman from Shannon City, driving a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, attempted to turn around, backed up, and struck a 2016 Dodge Journey Sport Utility Vehicle. The owner of the Dodge, 28-year-old Crystal Whitney Jacobe of Creston, was putting her children in her car at the time of the collision. The impact forced the door on the Dodge to strike Jacobe, causing an injury to her right hip.
Ground ambulance transported Jacobe to the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.
Both vehicles received minor damage and were driven away from the scene.
