(Iowa City, IA) — Iowa Football Head Coach Kirk Ferentz says it was a productive bye week but its back to the field this week with the Hawks toughest challenge of the season as the visit #3 Ohio St. Last week Offensive Coordinator Tim Lester said that the Iowa passing game has made strides despite not putting up the stats; Ferentz hopes that is the case because they need to play exceptional in all areas to beat the Buckeyes on Saturday
Ferentz further expounded on the Buckeyes defensive front with guys like Jack Sawyer, JT Tumioloau (Too–ee–moh–low–ow), Ty Hamilton and Tyleik Williams all starters and all putting up big numbers
Ferentz is the dean of Big Ten coaches but the only Big Ten venue that he has not won in yet as a Head Coach is the Horseshoe in Columbus. He did win as an assistant under Hayden Fry in 1987
Iowa 3-1 at #3 Ohio St. 4-0, Game time Saturday is at 2:30, it will be televised by CBS.
