(Kimballton) The Kimballton City Council has three new members. Three council members resigned, leading to the special election on Tuesday.
According to the Audubon County Auditor’s Office, Dirk Wasson, Sheila Partridge, and Thomas Lake earned the seats. Wasson received 52, Partridge 49, and Thomas Lake 26.
Other receiving votes include Peggy Mortensen, 22, James Cogdill, 19, and Donna Sargent, 22, and scattered votes.
The total number of votes came in at 210, 37 percent of the eligible constituency.
