(Johnston) A student at Johnston Middle School was taken into custody following a report of a weapon spotted in a bathroom. The school went into lockdown at 2:48 p.m. No weapon was found. The lockdown lasted about 20 minutes. The School District is collaborating with local police to investigate. Classes will proceed as normal on Friday.
