(Atlantic) The 2024 Atlantic Homecoming King and Queen were crowned during a coronation at the Atlantic High School this (Friday) afternoon.
King Luke Irlmeier is the son of Jill and Joe Irlmeier. Luke has one sibling, Gwen Irlmeier. He has been involved in Cross Country and Band. His future plans are to attend Iowa State University to study Landscape Architecture.
Queen Emma Winford is the daughter of Ben and Tiffany Winford. She has three siblings – Gage Irwin, Aubrey Winford and Miley Winford. Emma has been involved in Journalism, Choir, Show Choir, Student Council, Junior Class President, NHS, Quill and Scroll, Girls Basketball Managing, the Mentoring Program, AHS Fuel and Shift ATL. She is currently undecided about which college to attend, but plans on going into Elementary Education or entering the medical field.
King and Queen candidates included: Danielle Bennett, Morgan Botos, Lola Comes, Emma Rose, Isabelle Symonds, Kylie Templeton, Emma Winford, Xavier Darrow, Jarrett Hansen, Tristan Hayes, Luke Irlmeier, Kinnick Juhl, Tyson O’Brien, and Haydin Thompson.
