(NAFB) Geoff Cooper is the president and CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association and says that the U.S. ethanol industry is projected to have a record year for ethanol exports.
Cooper says that the countries importing U.S. ethanol do not have the production infrastructure of the United States but want the environmental benefits of a lower carbon fuel.
While the 45Z tax credit program is set to begin in 2025, Cooper says there are still a lot of questions about the implementation of the program.
