(Warren County) Three people suffered injuries in a car versus motorcycle crash in Warren County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened around 6:20 p.m. on Friday at 160th Avenue and G58/Highway 65. Authorities identified the injured occupants as 34-year-old Levi Woldt and 29-year-old Shelby Wambold, both from Lacona, Iowa, and 22-year-old Ritchie Finnegan, from Traverse City, Minnesota.
According to the report, Finnegan, driving an eastbound 2015 Ford Fusion on G58/Highway 165, turned north onto 160th Avenue and failed to yield to Levi Woldt, riding a 2015 westbound Harley Davidson Motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the front driver’s side of the Ford, ejecting both occupants on the Harley Davidson.
Air Med One transported Levi Woldt to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, and Air Med Two transported Shelby Wambold to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Milo EMS transported Ritchie Finnegan to Mercy Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
