(Oakland, IA) — After falling in week two to AHSTW, Riverside faced a big challenge in week three opening up district play against undefeated South Central Calhoun but the Bulldogs responded with a 34-21 win.
Riverside jumped out to a 14-0 lead and the score would stay that way all the way into the 4th quarter as the teams would furiously go back and forth in the final period but the early start helped the Bulldogs. Jaxon Gordon had a monster day with 35 carries for 248 yards and 4 TD.
