(Atlantic) Later today, the Atlantic City Council will act on a resolution appointing Laura McLean as the new Atlantic City Clerk and set her compensation for the Fiscal year 2025. If appointed, McLean would take over the position vacated by longtime City Clerk Barb Barrick, who resigned last March after accepting a similar position in the City of Huxley.
*The Council will also act on an order to close Indian Trail Drive on September 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for Church Worship Night.
*SHIFT ATL’s presentation on 201 West 14th Street reimbursement to the City’s Housing Development Fund.
*The Council will act on the third and final reading, “Vacating the 66′ wide Street Right-of-Way at West Fourth Street.
*The Council will act on an order to approve administration invoices one and two for the Atlantic AMU Water CDBG Project.
*The Council will review and recommend the Parks Commission’s request to add Trees to the “Do Not Plant List.”
The Council will also act on reappointing Shawn Shouse and Melissa Ihnen to the Board of Adjustment.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
