(Adams Co) A Red Oak man was arrested on drug charges in Adams County.
On September 2nd, at 4:30 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Michael Webster on Highway 34 and Sycamore Avenue. Upon investigation, K9 Midge was deployed and alerted on the vehicle. During a probable cause search, 59 grams of Methamphetamine was located in the vehicle. Webster was arrested and charged with Driving While Suspended, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine 3rd Offense, Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, and Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp.

On September 8th, Deputies arrested 38-year-old Carl Daniel, of Bedford, on four active Failure to Appear warrants. The original charges were Possession of Methamphetamine 3rd Offense, Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp. Daniel was booked into the Adams County Jail where he was held without bond until seen by the magistrate.
On August 30th, at 10:30 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on 183rd Street and Highway 148. Upon investigation, 55-year-old Michael Newsome, of Carbon, was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense. Newsome’s breath alcohol content was .228. Newsome was released after posting $2,000 cash only bond.
On September 7th, Deputies arrested 40-year-old Ryan Nelson, of Neola, following an incident at Casey’s General Store. Nelson was charged with Harassment 3rd Degree and Driving While Suspended. Nelson was also arrested on an active Probation Violation warrant from Montgomery County. He was booked into jail and later posted bond.
