(Red Oak) The Red Oak, Elliott, and Stanton Fire Departments responded to a residential structure fire at 205 E—Market Street in Red Oak.
Red Oak Fire Chief John Bruce says the call went out at 3:23 a.m. Arriving firefighters reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the vacant residence. Fire crews did make entry, and a primary search concluded no one was inside. Chief Bruce says the property is considered a total loss (value unknown at the time of the report). No injuries were reported at the time of the incident. The fire remains under investigation at this time:
