(Des Moines) Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred early Monday morning in Des Moines. Police responded to gunfire hitting a home on Stewart Street around 2:30 a.m., finding multiple shell casings at the scene. Nineteen-year-old Caleb Peterson faces charges including reckless use of a firearm and assault on a peace officer. Additionally, Abel Aguilar, also 19, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving violations. No injuries were reported from the shooting.
