(Atlantic) An Atlantic woman was arrested for False Reports of an Indictable Offense to a Public Entity and Public Intoxication.
The Atlantic Police Department says on Sunday the Cass County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting that an individual had been shot behind the apartments in the 1300 block of East 10th Street in Atlantic. When officers arrived on scene, they found that no one in the area had any injuries and that there had not been any altercations that had taken place. An investigation into the situation resulted in 33-year-old Samantha Wehrli being taken into custody. She was transported to the Cass County Jail where she was booked and held.
The Atlantic Police Department was assisted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office during the investigation.
