(Atlantic) The Atlantic football team is completing its pre-game preparations for a non-district game at Trojan Bowl against Clarke tomorrow night. The Trojans emerged victorious with a 47-33 win over Clarke in last year’s game. Nevertheless, the Indians now have a new head coach who could introduce a different strategy to the game.
The Trojans do know they can run the football. Atlantic Head Coach Joe Brummer praised the offensive line for paving the way for O’Brien, Gavin McLaren (13 carries, 80 yards, four touchdowns), and Ethan McNeal (one carry for a 40-yard touchdown.). All totaled, the Trojans averaged 9.4 yards per carry.
Coach Brummer says the point of emphasis this week is getting back to the fundamentals. Coach Brummer says fortunately they have one game underneath their belts.
