(Atlantic) The Atlantic School Board is beginning their search for a Superintendent.
Superintendent Dr. Beth Johnsen is in her second year of a two-year interim Superintendent contract.
Board President Kristy Pellett…
Pellett said their intent is to open this up to a permanent Superintendent position, and she would certainly encourage Dr. Beth Johnsen to apply.
The School Board agreed to have search firms come in and present to the Board in September.
Pellett said the the goal would be to vote on a firm and get them hired by October so they can begin the search for a permanent Superintendent.
