(Audubon, IA) — There is a lack of interest in cross country at Audubon this year — Head Coach Emily Nelson says only one runner Brody Schultes came for the sport.
Schultes is a Junior and Nelson says he has really responded in practice, enjoys running, and wants to keep in shape for his other sports he participates in
Schultes plays basketball, baseball and runs track and Nelson says cross country has helped him compete in multiple sports. Nelson hopes to try and get more kids involved and says there are many reasons to go out and run
Schultes will be running in his first meet for Audubon on September 5 at Logan Magnolia
