(Griswold) Starting last year, Iowa School Districts could have up to five days or 30 hours of virtual instruction. Griswold Schools Superintendent Dave Henrichs explained to the school board on Monday night that after meeting with the school administration, they decided not to use this method of education this school year.
Also, during Henrichs’s report, he touched on the latest decision by the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls Athletic Union to move girls’ tennis and boys’ golf to the fall starting in the 2025-2026 school year.
Henrichs shared the information with the Griswold School Board because a petition circulating at the state level disagrees with the decision to move those two sports to the fall season. The Griswold School Board also agreed to allow the Griswold School Administration to sign the petition.
