(Anita, IA) — Small but mighty, that will be the theme for the CAM cross country team this year. The Cougars only have four girls and one guy coming out for the sport this year and they have to get ready in a hurry because the Cougars first meet is this coming Monday.
CAM Head Coach Debra Brown says there are three seniors that will be leading the way for the team this year
Sophomore Megan Gerlock will join those ladies; there is only one boy out for XC this year and that is Sophomore Dustin McCurdy. That means that CAM will not be able to have a team score on both sides since you need five members minimum to post a score. Brown hopes that her runners this year will go out and do their best and maybe more will come to the sport
The CAM Cross Country team will be at the Woodward Granger Invite this Monday with other schools Baxter, Clarke, Grand View Christian, Saydel and West Marshall
