(Lincoln, NE) — Don’t expect Nebraska Football Head Coach Matt Rhule to make an announcement on his starting quarterback this week.
It continues to be a three way battle between two freshmen — Dylan Raiola and Danny Kaelin — plus Junior Heinrich Haarberg but Rhule doesn’t see any advantage in naming a starter before next week
Haarberg has a leg up in experience — the Junior from Kearney, NE played in 10 games with 8 starts last season. Raiola is one of the top recruits in the country out of Buford, GA and is currently #1 on the depth chart and then there is Kaelin, a local kid from Elkhorn, NE, who has impressed the coaches in different ways
