(Des Moines) The Iowa State Fair set a new single-day attendance record with 128-thousand-732 visitors on Saturday, surpassing the previous record set 2022. This milestone also exceeded the attendance record for the first Saturday in 1991. All three parking lots on the fairgrounds were full for the first time. The fair will continue through August 18th.
