Fatal Accident in Decatur County

(Decatur Co) A Leon man died following a single vehicle accident in Decatur County Friday evening.

The Iowa State Patrol says 61-year-old Edward Ray Hiebing was driving a 2007 GMC Sierra eastbound on Highway 2 when he apparently had a medical condition causing him to leave the roadway and hit a building.

The State Patrol accident reports says Hiebing was transported to the Decatur County hospital. Hiebing passed away.
