(Webster County, IA) — Dozens of dogs and puppies are seized from a residence in Webster County.
The Webster County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation began after Animal Control reported possible animal neglect at a residence in Baxter, north of Fort Dodge. Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant and ultimately seized 29 dogs and puppies from the property, including 25 that were malnourished.
The case remains under investigation, and the Webster County Sheriff’s Office says charges are pending.
