(Union Co) A Creston man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says 48-year-old Phillip Ronald Williams Jr., of Creston, was driving a 2005 Hyundai Sonata southbound on P33, south of 110th Street, at around 1:00 p.m. 19-year-old Holton Alan McCutchan, of Prescott, was driving a 2009 Chevy Impala northbound on P33 and drove onto the shoulder. McCutchan over-corrected, went into the southbound lane and struck the Sonata, causing the Sonata to roll and come to rest on its wheels in the west ditch. The Impala also entered the west ditch and came to rest.
Phillip Ronald Williams was transported to Methodist Hospital by Lifeflight.
