(Clarke Co) Three people were injured in a two vehicle accident in Clarke County Sunday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on southbound I-35 near the 28 mile marker at 1100 a.m. A 2005 Buick Terraza van, driven by 61-year-old David Ratliff of Des Moines, sideswiped a 2020 Peterbilt Semi, driven by 33-year-old Matthew Cronk of Burlington Junction, Missouri. The van then swerved into the median and rolled over several times before coming to rest in the northbound lanes. The semi pulled over south of the accident.
David Ratliff and two passenger, 36-year-old Nicole Tenborg and 39-year-old Jonathan Tenborg, both of Des Moines, were all transported to the hospital by Clarke County EMS.
