(Greenfield) Adair County Health System is pleased to announce the partial re-opening of its facility after making substantial repairs to address severe tornado damage.
Adair County Health System expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Nodaway Valley School District for their incredible generosity in allowing them to use their facilities throughout the summer.
Pending approval from the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing, ACHS plans to open various services on August 12th. Full details of the reopening of each specific department can be found on the Adair County Health System website. Please be advised that all entrances on the North side of the hospital are closed. At this time, all access and parking for the facility will be on south side of the hospital. Construction will continue across various departments within the hospital, with some areas requiring more extensive repairs and, therefore, additional time. The goal is to have all departments fully operational by October 15th, pending construction progress.
ACHS is also pleased to announce that they have purchased three lots from properties that were tragically lost in the disaster. While the specific plans for these lots are still being developed, ACHS envisions utilizing them to support the future growth of their organization.
