(Guthrie Co) A semi-tractor pulling a livestock trailer with 167 hogs was involved in an accident in Guthrie County Wednesday afternoon.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Christopher Boggan, of York New Salem, Pennsylvania, was driving the 2001 Peterbilt southbound on Frontier Road and ran a stop sign while attempting to turn right onto White Pole Road. Boggan told Deputies he did not know the road ended. He lost control of the semi, which flipped over onto the driver’s side, losing some of the load.
A 10-year-old male in the sleeper portion of the semi had to be extricated by non-mechanical means. The report says the child and Boggan had possible injuries, but they were not transported to the hospital.
