(Adair Co) Two men were arrested on warrants in Adair County.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert Charles Hughes, 53, of Greenfield, on July 26th on a warrant for two counts of Sex Offender Area/Activity Violation 1st Offense. Hughes was held on $2,000 cash or surety bond.
Ryan James Cook II, 20, of Anita, was arrested July 26th on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault – Injury or or Mental Illness – 1st Offense. Cook was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
In other activity, Larry Dwight Yeager, 36, of Anita, was cited and released following a traffic stop on July 27th. Yeager was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Steven Leroy Sweny, 63, of Elkhorn, Nebraska, was arrested July 21st for OWI 1st Offense. Bond was set at $1,000 cash or surety.
Tommy Dwayne Watters, 48, of Lorimor, was cited and released on July 24th for Driving While Barred.
