(Atlantic) The Crowning of the King and Queen capped off Day One of the activities at the 75th Annual Cass County Fair on Thursday evening. Claire Pellett, a member of the Pymosa 4H club, was crowned Queen and will represent Cass County at the 2024 Iowa State Fair. Jack Brahms, a Union Leaders 4H Club member, is the 2024 Cass County Fair King.
Claire Pellett, an Atlantic High School graduate, grew up in the Cass and State Fair. She says 4H taught her many life skills and is looking forward to representing Cass County at the Iowa State Fair.
Jack Brahms, a CAM High School graduate, says he was surprised when he received the King’s crown. Jack is looking forward to attending the shows throughout the fair, something he hasn’t been able to do in the past.

The 2024 Cass County Royalty included Rachel Becker, Lily Johnson, Makayla Atkinson, Brooklynne Peterson, Claire Pellett, Quincy Sorensen, Ryleigh Harrison, and Olivia Olson. The King candidates are Jace Thomsen, Brock Henderson, Jack Brahms, Joaquin Wailes, and Nollan Smith.
The Cass County Fair runs through July 30.
