(Council Bluffs) A motorcycle driver died from injuries suffered in a crash in Council Bluffs on Saturday.
Council Bluffs Police say the accident happened around 3:04 p.m. at S. 17th and 2nd Avenue. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of a truck at the intersection. Council Bluffs Fire and Rescue, along with Council Bluffs Police, arrived at the location, and the driver of the motorcycle was transported to UNMC, where he has since passed away from the injuries he sustained from the accident. Authorities did not release the name.
The Council Bluffs Police Traffic Unit is still investigating this incident. At the time of this report, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor.
