(Pottawattamie Co) The first show at the Pottawattamie County Fair in Avoca today is the Poultry Show at 9:00 a.m., the Livestock Judging Contest begins at 10:00, Storytime & Activity at KidZone with the Avoca Public Library at 11:00, Kool-Aid & Canvas at 4:00 p.m., from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. is Food Trucks and Family Night with the Prince and Princess Contest, Bounce Houses, Face Painting and Putt-Putt Golf. Pre-Fair Event Awards, Share the Fun, and crowning of the 2024 Pottawattamie County Fair Queen and Jr. Queen is at 6:00 p.m., and at the conclusion of the stage events there will be a pedal tractor pull.
