(Harlan, IA) — A huge key for any high school baseball team in any season is how much production they get from the bottom of the order. The Harlan Cyclones have gotten some tremendous production from their 7, 8, 9 hitters in their 3 wins to get to the state baseball tournament.
Against Carroll in the first round, Landon Kaufman, Weston Reisz, and Foxx Argosinger only went a combined 2 for 10 but had a HR, 6 total RBIs and scored 2 runs. Against Creston in the substate semifinals, Reisz had an RBI. Then against Lewis Central, the three combined 4 for 7 with 5 runs and 2 RBI. Impressive numbers for 3 hitters in the last three spots.
