(Atlantic) The 75th Annual Cass County Fair is less than two weeks away. Cass County Rabbit Show Superintendent Justin Retallic announced he will continue the Rabbit table raffle again this year.
Retallic says the current wooden tables have seen their better days after numerous remodels, protruding nails, and hard-to-clean surfaces.
Retallic says the new design features a metal frame with a tray at the bottom for easier cleaning during the fair, safer handling, and storage.
Each unit has a price tag of about $1,000.00. Local businesses donated items to be placed in the raffle. People can purchase one ticket for $2.00, three tickets for $5.00, six tickets for $10.00, or thirteen tickets for $20.00. The winner will be drawn at the end of the rabbit show on Friday. The winners don’t have to be present to win.
Retallic says rabbit numbers are up, with 166 rabbits registered to attend the fair. The show will be on Friday, July 26, starting at 8:00 a.m.
The Cass County Fair starts on Wednesday, July 25, with the static exhibits and runs through July 30.
