(Griswold) Debris from a passing storm is blamed for a single-vehicle accident in Pottawattamie County west of Griswold.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 8:55 p.m. on Sunday, on Highway 92. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Jody Rossell of Griswold, was taken by private vehicle to Nebraska Medicine for treatment of injuries.
According to the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office accident report, an eastbound 2020 Kia driven by Daniel Paul Rossell of Griswold crossing the Nishnabotna Bridge on Highway 92 swerved to miss a tree branch on the roadway following a passing storm. The Kia lost control, entered the south embankment, vaulted a driveway in the yard of 53823 Highway 92, and rolled, coming to rest in the yard.
