(Ames, IA) – Former Iowa State Cyclone Lauren Mansfield has officially been named to Australia’s Olympic 3×3 Basketball team.
Mansfield will be joining her teammates Anneli Maley, Marena Whittle, and Alex Wilson to all make their 3×3 Olympic debuts. Mansfield formally played for the Australian team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Adelaide, Australian native was the co-captain for Iowa State during the 2011-12 season. She averaged 8.2 points, 3.3 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game through her senior year while playing 63 games in two seasons with the Cyclones.
Through her senior season, she reached double figures a total of 11 times which included three contests of 20+ points. Australia’s 3×3 team will begin pool play against Canada on July 30th in Paris.
