(Guthrie Co) A vehicle backed into a gas pump in Guthrie Center, causing approximately $50,000 in damage.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says 49-year-old Kerry Stonehocker, of Linden, driving a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, was backing up at the Sparky’s and thought she saw someone in her peripheral vision and accelerated in reverse into the pump to avoid a potential collision.
Stonehocker showed no signs of impairment or intoxication.
