(Guthrie Co) Guthrie County Transfer Station Director Jotham Arber spoke to the Board of Supervisors this morning about an updated plan for waste and debris removal in the event of a major storm.
Arber said they learned a few things following the Greenfield Tornado and he wanted to get ahead of the game as far as what it would look like in Guthrie County if they had a disaster of that magnitude.
Arber said this will also require some policy changes at the Transfer Station, so they will be looking at policies and procedures with a goal to have everything done by October.
In other new, the Supervisors approved working with Wixted & Co. For a communication plan for the EMS ballot measure.
