(Council Bluffs) Narrows River Park in Council Bluffs is closed until further notice due to flooding of the Missouri River.
Pottawattamie County Conservation says Narrows River Park is expected to be impacted by flooding of the Missouri River this week due to multiple days of heavy rain upstream. For visitor safety, the park will remain closed until further notice.
Current projections predict water levels will be like what was seen in 2019, putting the park roughly six feet under water. Water is not expected to recede until early July.
